White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi, of Linden, VA, were played by cast members on Saturday Night Live crashing a speech by President Obama.
During the skit which began the show, Secret Service agents were shown to approach the couple and were asked by Front Royal’s newest celebs to take a few snapshots.
SNL’s Joe Biden then joined the group behind the president and the actress playing Michaele interrupted the president’s speech to ask him to take their picture with the “vice president” and the agents. “President Obama” obliged twice.
News of the skit was first published on the web by Lisa de Moraes of The Washington Post.
Tareq Salahi was coy and merely smiled at us when asked in the Warren County, VA General District Courthouse Friday about whether he would appear on SNL tonight.
Rumors surfaced during their court appearance that the Salahis would appear in person.
