Bailout Not the Real Issue

Candidates — mostly challengers — across the South are denouncing the $700 billion financial rescue package and criticizing their opponents who supported it. But polling data suggests that the “bailout” is not the main worry of voters. The collapse of Wall Street, carrying with it the substantial decline in 401Ks and retirement accounts across the nation, appears to be much more the number one concern of most voters.
